The Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) program from the National Apartment Association Education Institute teaches the critical property management principles and techniques used by a professional supervisor. Designed for the multi-site and regional level supervisor, this course will help you make the connection between knowledge and driving performance to get results!
Classes can be taken individually to enhance specific skill-sets, or take all 5 classes to earn your national CAPS designation.
Have at least 24 months of multi-site management experience OR
Hold a CAM, ARM, CPM, or RAM Designation

Susan Weston, CAM, CAPS The Susan Weston Company Susan’s industry career spans over 30 years as Vice President of Operations, Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Learning and Development at both publicly traded and private companies. Susan also served as Director of Education for the National Apartment Association.
She is an NAAEI Faculty and Board Member and volunteer at local and state apartment associations. She is a Certified Apartment Manager, a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor, a Subject Matter Expert for the NAA Education Institute, member of NAAEI Senior Faculty and a licensed Texas real estate broker. In 2009, she earned the prestigious ACE award for excellence in education from NAAEI. Since 2012, Susan has taught multifamily property management programs in the School of Business at the University of North Texas. In 2014, she was awarded the Legends in Education from the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas.
