Impact Day 2015

On Saturday, September 26, 2015, the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA) will partner with the nonprofit, Rebuilding Together Seattle (RTS), to help low income homeowners in need of critical home repairs. Approximately 20-25 WMFHA volunteers will work together to help a deserving family in the greater Seattle area through Rebuilding Together Seattle’s Team Build Program. WMFHA and Rebuilding Together Seattle need your help in making this Community Impact Day possible! See below for how you can support this event.

BECOME AN EVENT SPONSOR, DONOR, OR VOLUNTEER

IN-KIND MATERIALS DONOR

We are looking for companies to support the Impact Day through providing project material donations. Examples of material donations include kitchen appliances, lighting, lumber, flooring, carpeting, paint, doors, windows and landscape materials. In-kind donors will be recognized in the event marketing (in order of total market value giving levels), and will receive a letter of acknowledgment outlining your company’s contribution. Materials contributions of $500 or more allow your company to have up to two (2) attendees at the house on Impact Day.

IN-KIND LABOR AND INSTALLATION DONOR

We are looking for companies to support the Impact Day through providing project skilled labor and installation support. Examples of skilled labor needs include installing flooring, carpentry, electric upgrades, HVAC, landscape plantings and plumbing repairs. In-kind donors will be recognized in the event marketing (in order of total market value giving levels), and will receive a letter of acknowledgment outlining your contribution. Materials contributions of $500 or more allow your company to have up to two (2) attendees at the house on Impact Day.

CASH DONOR

Make a 100% tax deductible donation to Rebuilding Together Seattle of any amount to help “fund a need” for a project (ex: purchasing a kitchen appliance) or cover a particular event cost (ex: lunch for the volunteers). All donors will be recognized in the event marketing, listed in order of giving levels. Cash contributions of $500 or more allow your company to have up to two (2) attendees at the house.

VOLUNTEER

If you would simply like to show up for our volunteer day and be put to work, let us know! There are only a limited number of volunteer slots available.
