Get Your Chili On!

Think your chili recipe has what it takes to take the trophy away from Weidner Apartment Homes? Well, step right up and give it a shot! For only $225 ($275 after July 30th) you can be a competitor in the cook-off. Your entry comes with a 6 foot table, 2 admission tickets, tasting cups, two chafing trays, napkins and spoons. All you have to do is bring the chili and your best spirit of competition! Awards are given in the following categories:

Best Overall Chili
Hottest Chili
Most Creative (but still edible) Chili
Most Creative Chili BOOTH
Best Costume (Chili Booths)
Best Cosutme (Kids)

Participating in the Chili Cook-Off is one of the best team-building events we do all year!

Helping Others - It's the WMFHA Way!

This event allows WMFHA and it's members to assist two organizations that are dear to our hearts. First, we are proud to donate proceeds from this event to the Domestic Abuse Women's Network. DAWN provides tools and resources to women and children in our community who are victims of domestic abuse.

Also, we do a "personal items" drive at the door of Chili Cook-Off. The items you donate are given to the Carl's Closet at the Plymouth Housing Group. This agency strives to end homelessness by transitioning people from the streets into apartment homes. This transition is exciting and challenging as people don't posess the necessities such as soap, toothpaste, wash cloths, dishes etc.

Because of your participation in the Chili Cook-Off, we are able to make a difference in the lives of others. Thank you!
