Seattle Native, John Porter established Porter Construction in 1997. Porter started his career in construction in the early 1980’s working for a residential home builder in North Seattle. John’s dedication to the craft and talent quickly moved him up, advancing him into the role of a Master Finish Carpenter and Project Manager. During this time Porter worked in the Luxury Home arena, constructing and remodeling Waterfront Custom Estates on Mercer Island, and the Eastside of Lake Washington. It was during this phase of his career; Porter realized a need for specialized construction remediation contractors in the Pacific Northwest.
For over two decades, with locations in Washington, Oregon and Hawaii, John’s skill, knowledge and quality standards made his company, Porter Construction a leader in Building Envelope Remediation. Multi-family and Commercial Remediation have been a major part of Porter Constructions success, while John’s passion for creative architecture has kept the company active in the Custom Home and Renovation industry. Cultivating talented teams, collaborating with property owners and agents to achieve project goals while “Building with Integrity” are at the core of Porter’s business principle.
