Dear WMFHA Members,

We have received your inquiries regarding our current and future activities as it relates to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Below is a brief update and a sense of what we are doing and how we are planning for the near future.
Our top priority is to help you and your business through the uncertainty and concerns of the situation. In response, we have set up a specific resource page on our website. This page is advice for the multifamily industry on how to respond and be prepared. We will continue to update this page of our website as key information and recommendations come available.
Due to the severity of the situation locally, we are moving EdCon to July 23. All other events and classes will be considered on a case by case basis following our government’s guidance.
We are actively working with the City of Seattle, King County, and the legislature to implement emergency rental housing measures that will open the door for services for rent relief with minimal administrative delay. We anticipate over one million dollars of state budget money to be appropriated by the end of the week to fund these services at the Department of Commerce.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our team members.
