Professional Bio
I love knowledge, and my passion is continually working on improvements, both personally and professionally. This has been the driving force behind my growth with Rockwood Property Management.
My start in Property Management was in 2010, when I was living on-site, and there was an opening for a Guest Services Coordinator to work evenings, assisting residents with packages, clubhouse rentals, and closing the pool and office for the evening. I found an interest in leasing, and within a year, moved into a management role. I simultaneously managed multiple communities, oversaw the lease-up of a 55+ community, which was also new to our portfolio, and started working to establish the processes and procedures for our organization. I earned my CAM certification in 2017, just before I moved from on-site to a corporate role as an Operations Analyst. In 2022, I stepped into a Regional Manager position, earned my CAPS certification, and am currently in this role.
Alongside my passion for growth is my desire to encourage others and celebrate them, especially in an industry that is ever changing and very challenging. Several years ago, I became an ambassador for the Washington Multifamily Housing Association, promoting their core value to advocate, educate, and celebrate. As one of the leaders in our company, I know that the organization’s success comes from the hard work of every member of our team, and it’s critical for them to understand that they are valued. In 2022, I was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award at WMFHA’s Emerald Awards. In 2023, I received an Emerald Award for Portfolio Manager of the Year. To me, both of these awards are not a reflection of me, but of how I engage with our teams to help them remember the why behind
what we do in this industry.
