The WMFHA Political Action Committee (PAC) is how our industry shows up in the political process. It allows members to voluntarily pool resources to support state and local candidates who understand the importance of multifamily housing and are willing to engage thoughtfully on our issues. These are candidates who recognize the experience and expertise of our members. Simply put, it ensures our industry has a voice where decisions are being made and a seat at the table. |
Elected officials create public policy that directly impacts whether housing can be built, maintained, and operated. Decisions made in Olympia and at the local level affect everything from development timelines to operating costs and long-term investment. The PAC helps WMFHA build relationships with elected officials and candidates before those decisions are made, creating opportunities to share real-world perspectives and advocate for policies that support housing supply and stability. |

The PAC is nonpartisan and focused on outcomes, not party affiliation. We support candidates who are willing to work with the industry and understand the importance of a modern, predictable, and viable housing market. In an environment where policy decisions can quickly shape the future of housing, the PAC ensures our industry remains engaged, informed, and represented at every level of government. |
