We also recognize the extraordinary efforts taking place throughout the multifamily housing community. Many WMFHA members are working around the clock to protect residents, secure properties, support their teams, and assist families who have been displaced.

Ways You Can Help
For members and organizations looking to support displaced residents and emergency relief efforts, several organizations are providing critical assistance throughout the region.
American Red Cross – Northwest Region
The American Red Cross is providing emergency shelter, meals, relief supplies, and support to individuals and families displaced by the fires.
Akin
Akin is coordinating with local partners to respond to an increased need for diapers, formula, children's clothing, hygiene supplies, food, and other necessities.
Through its Bundles of Love campaign, Akin is also partnering with Fred Meyer to provide families with essential baby supplies at its Spokane event on August 22–23.
Second Harvest Inland Northwest
Second Harvest Inland Northwest is distributing emergency food and water to disaster relief sites, shelters, and families in need throughout Eastern Washington.
