Education Scholarships

Our scholarships make it possible for members to earn a national property management credential, enhance their careers, and pave a path for continued success in the multifamily industry. Our industry is dynamic and always changing! The best way to stay ahead and keep the competitive advantage is to keep yourself well educated and knowledgeable about industry trends, practices, technology, legislation, and more. 

Scholarships for 2024 open December 1, 2023

Eligibility Requirements*

  • Be employed by an all-in member in good standing
    • For property management, all properties and management company must be members
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of industry experience for CALP, CAS, or CAMT, or 2 years for CAM, CAPS
  • Meet the eligibility requirements of the respective credential program
  • Be available to take the classes as scheduled

    *Scholarships can only be applied to credential classes taken with WMFHA, not valid for online credentials taken through NAAEI.

Scholarship Criteria 

Scholarship applications must be completed entirely for consideration. 

STEP 1

You’ll answer some short questions in writing.

STEP 2

Need to provide 3 video responses to the following questions. Each video should be no more than 60 seconds in length. 

 ONE of these questions

What is most important for your community/portfolio to operate effectively? How do you make sure your team(s) have it?

What was something you learned from managing a property and a team through the pandemic?

ONE of these questions:

Describe a time you went above and beyond for a resident OR

Talk about a time you overcame adversity or a challenge.

ONE of these questions:

What sets you apart from your peers in the industry OR

How do you demonstrate commitment and value to your multifamily customer?
