EdCon 2020: Regrettably canceled.

With our state’s slow progression of returning to "normal," we have decided to cancel EdCon 2020. We feel it is in the best interest of the health of safety of all. However, in order to still serve our members in the safest way possible, we’re happy to announce:

Introducing APTConnect – WMFHA’s multi-day, virtual education event coming in late fall 2020. Dates will be announced soon!

APTConnect will be a virtual industry conference focused on dynamic education related to the current state of our businesses. With opportunities to feature supplier partners in a virtual Marketplace as well as fun engaging aspects, APTConnect will be a multi-day, online event with a staggered schedule. It will allow for entire office/service teams to participate without compromising onsite operations or resident satisfaction.

For Suppliers:
  • Suppliers who had secured exhibitor booths (and hadn’t already cancelled) for EdCon 2020 will have their exhibitor booth, along with any corresponding ancillary sponsorships, transferred directly to EdCon 2021 on April 14, 2021. Suppliers who transfer their booth/sponsorship to 2021 will receive FREE participation in the APTConnect “Marketplace." All EdCon 2021 exhibitor booths/sponsorships, therefore, must be paid before APTConnect.
  • Suppliers who had secured additional booth attendee tickets for $49 will be refunded.
  • Suppliers who did NOT have a booth at EdCon 2020 can pay to participate in the Marketplace of APTConnect for $150. Contracts for this will be available soon.
  • Session sponsorships will also be sold for APTConnect. Once all courses have been finalized, we will open the session sponsorships to our supplier members participating in the AptConnect Marketplace. Session sponsorships will be $200 each.
  • If, instead of transferring your booth/sponsorship to EdCon2021, you want a full refund, please contact Katrina Bishop at katrina@wmfha.org to make arrangements.

For Attendees:

  • All EdCon 2020 regular attendee tickets will automatically be transferred to APTConnect.
  • For companies that secured bulk tickets for EdCon 2020, Katrina will be reaching out to remind you of the total number of tickets purchased. If you cannot use the full number of tickets purchased, she will work with you to issue refunds.
  • For each ticket purchased and transferred to APTConnect, WMFHA will be donating $10 from each ticket to the Domestic Abuse Women’s Network.
