2025 President’s Brunch Recap: Celebrating Leadership, Accomplishments, and the 2026 WMFHA Board

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, WMFHA proudly welcomed members and industry partners to the return of the President’s Brunch, held at the Hyatt Regency Seattle in the Quinault Ballroom. The sold-out event served as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the successes of 2025 while officially ushering in new leadership for 2026.

Celebrating Leadership & Service

The program highlighted the strength of WMFHA’s leadership community and the dedication of its volunteers. Two newly elected 2026 Board Members, Michael Beler and James Ohrn, were officially sworn in.

We also honored Angie Bentler, the 2025 Board President, as she transitions into her new role as Immediate Past President for 2026, recognizing her leadership and commitment over the past year. In addition, WMFHA proudly inducted Brett Waller as the 2026 President, marking an exciting new chapter for the association.

Special recognition was given to Amy Curtis for completing her term on the Board of Directors in 2025, along with heartfelt thanks to all 2025 Committee Members for their invaluable service. The event also celebrated the 2025 Emerging Leaders cohort and acknowledged WMFHA members serving at the national level with the National Apartment Association.

2025 Committee Updates

During the brunch, WMFHA’s Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs shared their 2025 committee accomplishments and provided a preview of their goals for 2026. Attendees gained insight into the committees’ impact on the organization and the multifamily housing industry, including initiatives in professional development, networking, advocacy, and community engagement.
