HNN Associates, LLC’s mission is to be a great company that provides outstanding housing. After speaking with their Talent Acquisition Manager, Brittany Cristel, it’s clear that they are doing just that.
HNN was formed in 2005 by owners Phil Nored, Jack Hunden and Tom Neubauer. Today, HNN owns and operates 30 communities throughout Washington State and continues to construct new communities each year. In the past few years, the company has almost doubled in size and now employs over 250 employees between their onsite and corporate teams.
What makes HNN different from other property management companies?
HNN is a local company that primarily focuses on affordable housing. With a huge need in our state, HNN is one of the largest developers of affordable housing in Washington. The majority of their communities are located in King and Snohomish County; however, they have a few outliers in Bellingham, Vancouver, and East Wenatchee. HNN’s corporate operations are based out of Bellevue, WA.

Brittany Cristel is HNN’s Talent Acquisition Manager and has been with the company for two years. Her favorite thing about working for HNN is the company culture.

Brittany had a hard time deciding which HNN property is her favorite. She loves their new developments because they offer 5-bedroom townhomes and flats which is rare, especially in our region. Brittany ultimately decided that Scriber Creek in Lynnwood is her favorite, but admits that she may be biased because it was her first lease-up project with HNN. She got to experience an amazing team and construction process as the Portfolio Manager at the time.
