WMFHA's New Home - 600 SW 39th Street, Suite 220
After over five years in our familiar office at 711 Powell in Renton, WMFHA moved to new office space on July 1, 2021.
The Powell Ave. office was beginning to get tight on space. WMFHA’s educational classes and credential programs have grown over the years, reaching capacity in our former training center.
Additionally, committees and our Board of Directors have grown in attendance over the years. And, as WMFHA looks to grow our staff, we were maxed out in our intimate office space at 711 Powell.
Hence, the WMFHA team have moved to a beautiful, spacious new office at 600 SW 39th St., Suite 220 in Renton. Our space is part of the Time Square business park. If you are familiar with the IKEA in Renton, you are familiar with our new neighborhood.
The new WMFHA training center holds up to 50 classmates and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual technology. Already in 2021, the space has been enjoyed by Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT) credential candidates.
Committees have also begun to meet in person after many months of Zoom meetings, now in the comfort of the new office. New artwork, décor, and furnishings have made for a comfortable and creative environment.
A special thank you goes to CORT, who helped us choose the right furniture for the new office. We are also grateful to Holly Norris at HKN Design Group for all the help sourcing materials, colors, artwork, and furniture for our beautiful office estetic.
After having to hunker down in 2020, we recently held our annual Holiday Social gathering in our new office. Thank you to those who were able to stop by and enjoy holiday spirit, re-kindle relationships, support the association, and see the new digs.
