Professional Bio
William Schneider serves as Public Affairs Manager for the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA), where he supports the organization’s advocacy, government affairs, and member engagement efforts.
William began his career through internships in the U.S. House of Representatives and in public policy for a chamber of commerce, where he developed his skills in government affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. He later spent time working on political campaigns, gaining firsthand experience in constituent engagement, coalition building, and community outreach.
At WMFHA, William works with housing providers, elected officials, coalition partners, and industry stakeholders to advance policies that support housing stability, increased housing supply, and a healthy rental housing ecosystem across Washington state.
William holds a degree in political science and is passionate about serving his community. He is a Bellevue Essentials alumnus, a graduate of the Bellevue Community Police Academy, and a member of Leadership Eastside’s 2027 cohort.
