LONG Building Technologies launched their facility solutions business in 1965, and currently supports open protocols, open distributions, and open platforms. LONG also provides data driven services-leveraging powerful analytics; security solutions (launched in 2008); and state of the art access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems. The LONG Security Solutions team is built upon a foundation of experienced physical security professionals that have been in the industry for greater than 15 years. The basis of our design is Smarts and Parts, we employ in-house engineers, project managers, and certified security technicians. LONG has found great success with our Smarts and Parts business model by delivering some of the most detailed engineering drawings in the industry. The LONG engineering drawings complimented with our technical expertise allow us to commission, control, and manage projects utilizing existing local electrical contractors for a complete installation. Our Smarts and Parts design also allows us the capacity to take on large enterprise projects without the need to hire a team of self-performing installers. Our approach also allows our clients the ability to participate in the overall cost of the project using in house labor resources or existing electrical contractors.
