WMFHA Advocacy Team Attends Rep. Amy Walen Campaign Kickoff

The WMFHA Advocacy team was proud to attend the campaign kickoff for Representative Amy Walen alongside industry leaders, association partners, elected officials, and community stakeholders from across the region.

Rep. Walen has been a strong and thoughtful partner to the multifamily housing industry and has played an important role in advancing legislation impacting housing providers during recent legislative sessions. Her leadership and engagement with our industry were recognized when she received WMFHA’s 2025 Representative of the Year Award at the Washington Apartment Outlook Conference.

We appreciate Representative Walen’s continued partnership and look forward to continuing to work together on housing policy issues impacting Washington’s rental housing providers.
