I started my career at 1UP as the warehouse guy. I was responsible for making sure all of the material was cut and ready for install. I took pride in my role and showed up everyday with a feeling of belonging and purpose within 1UP. A few months along the way, the ownership of 1UP recognized my character and strong value system, and offered me a once in a lifetime opportunity of becoming a Service Ninja. With no prior sales or service experience, I was confused as to why they thought I would be best for the job. But after spending many days learning and understanding the ins and outs of the flooring business, I came to an understanding. Nothing can be accomplished unless there is trust. My character and values instill trust in the people I work with and for and leave them with a sense of well-being knowing that I will do whatever it takes to get the job done efficiently and effectively. I love helping people and solving problems and becoming a part of the 1UP family has given me a refreshed sense of purpose and drive to be the best person I can be.
