This year we took on two house projects. At Harrine's house we dug a trench at the side of the driveway to prevent water from flowing into her garage. Then we installed new bypass doors in her bedroom closet, installed a new bathroom door downstairs, replaced her dishwasher, installed a new bathroom heat lamp and fan cover in the bathroom, a new kitchen vent fan, a new thermostat and baseboard heater in the bathroom, installed grab bars in the bathroom shower, stabilized front exterior handrails, replaced the bathroom sink, replaced the bathroom cabinet, and repaired her front screen door. HD Supply donated all of the items to fix up her house.

At Marilyn's house we gave her a new stove, range hood and dishwasher (donated by HD Supply), installed handrails leading downstairs, repaired exterior handrails, did landscaping, and removed exterior trash from her property and, will replace the flooring in the kitchen and living room (donated by 1UP Floors), patch roof leaks (donated by Mono Rooftop), replace gutters and downspouts (donated by CR Gutters), and replace window blinds (donated by American Floors & Blinds).

Kayleigh Fulton said, "I feel accomplished. To see the homeowner come out and acknowledge how much has been done was great."
Shar Eller said, "I always like to give back when I can and I think it's a great program that helps people who need help."
Bobby Rubalcaba said, "It's good to see people happy with their house again."
Rebuilding Together said, "One of the things we really appreciate about WMFHA is the number of in-kind donations and skilled labor that you are able to bring to a project. We are able to do so much in a home from replacing roofs which we aren't normally able to do to addressing heating issues, remodeling entire kitchens, and new energy-efficient appliance suites. It's really a transformative process."

Join us next year when we Rebuild Together again!
