Jason Loughridge Named Director of Career Development at WMFHA

WMFHA Updates,

WMFHA is Celebrating a Well-Earned Promotion!

We’re excited to share some great news from the WMFHA team — Jason Loughridge has been promoted to Director of Career Development!

Jason joined WMFHA in February 2022 as Career Development Manager, but his connection to our association runs much deeper. With over 20 years in property management — spanning both operations and training — Jason has long been a champion for professional growth in our industry. He’s a former WMFHA Board Member, and spent years serving on the Career Development Committee before officially joining the team.

From day one, Jason has made a lasting mark on our Career Development programs. He played a pivotal role in elevating our educational offerings at EdCon as we moved the event to the Seattle Convention Center, introducing new ways to learn and connect. Under his guidance, attendees now enjoy innovative experiences like The Maintenance Mile, Table Talks, and other “just-in-time” learning opportunities.

Jason also collaborated with the Career Development Committee to launch the Kari Anderson Emerging Leaders Program in 2024, now in its second successful year. His leadership has helped WMFHA refine internal processes, improve member experiences, and boost volunteer engagement. His colleagues describe him as kind, inclusive, conscientious, and committed to excellence.

Beyond WMFHA, Jason is making an impact nationally. In 2025, he joined the NAAEI Board of Directors, and serves on the Curriculum Development, RPM Careers and Apartmentalize committees for the National Apartment Association. He’s also now certified to teach the Mental Health First Aid program through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing — another way he’s investing in the success and wellbeing of our members.

If you’ve had the pleasure of working with Jason or attending one of his classes, you know this promotion is more than well deserved. Please join us in congratulating Jason on this milestone and in celebrating the continued positive impact he brings to our industry.
