Tenant Behavioral Survey - May 2020

Washington Multi-Family Housing Association conducted a survey of members to understand better the property owner consequences of the Washington Eviction Moratorium. The May survey results found an increase in non-rent material lease violations, including a more than doubling of incidents of violent behavior, noise complaints, harassing behavior and property damage.

The results speak to the need to allow property owners to effectively manage rental communities to prevent waste and nuisance, and continue to work to provide a quality and safe renting experience for all residents of multifamily housing in Washington state.
