Construction Services to Resume in Washington

Posted By: Brett Waller Advocacy News,

On April 24, 2020, as an early first step in re-opening Washington's economy, Governor Inslee released a framework to open construction activities. Construction activities will be permissible under certain conditions that focus on the health and safety of the construction workers while ensuring that construction activities continue.

You can read more about Governor Inslee's Return Phase 1 Construction Restart COVID-19 Job Site Requirements here.

The return to public life will occur in measured steps, guided by science, informed by our public health needs, our ability to mitigate impacts, and the response of our communities. The government will be transparent about the data they are using, and will use it to make decisions about loosening or tightening restrictions on the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order. On April 29, 2020, the Governor issued additional guidance on the implementation of Phase 1 of the Construction Restart.  You can find that information here.
